ok, back to kinda what it was before we did our 'cleaning'.....yeah normal...ah..its a city I lived in in central Illinois

think we got enough cleaning done to get to all the vents.... I hope.

And yet that city is anything but normal. Very odd...

Sigh second night in a row that I haven't slept well. Previous night was because my wife didn't come to bed till my alarm went off for me to get up. She got engrossed in her book. I for some reason wake up every couple hours if she isn't in there. Then last night she went to bed but woke up every 2 hours so it woke me up every 2 hours... Yay...

ah you old married guy! (I do the same thing if my hubby is around...I wake up and wonder why he hasnt come to bed, and he says he sleeps better if I am there as well).

and they do say that the average adult has a few days each month of 'normal' (hahaha) insomnia....so you are getting yours out of the way for this month

Well I'm glad it isn't just me then! Hopefully a full nights rest occurs tonight...

I hear ya...got about 2 hours last night, and then I had to get up and move stuff for the cleaners....and when they showed up, move even more stuff...now I am tired beyond belief...I hope I CAN fall asleep--sometimes when I am too tired I cant fall asleep

think I will take the hubby up on the hotel offer for tomorrow night (ate out tonight, but I have to be here early to let the sealers in so not a good idea to go to a nice comfy bed and possible be late coming back

Well finally got some sleep last night. Of course I woke up at 4:30 and couldn't fall back asleep but at least I got 7 straight hours of sleep. Better than the previous few nights.

I hate it when I'm too tired to fall asleep. Just seems ridiculous...

yes, I cant believe when you are that tired that you STILL cant fall asleep. (pwnd, you were the biology major--you explain it!)

I finally crashed about 8:30 last night....and slept thru the night for a change.
One more day of total mayhem and then I get to put everything back from whence it came

I think it probably has to do with brain activity. Even though you are exhausted your brain is still thinking it should be up and so the neurons are constantly firing. This causes you to be tired and yet unable to fall asleep. Maybe. Just a guess.

Welp the car is at the shop. Hoping for news that it isn't too expensive of a repair tomorrow...

well they finished sealing our vents, now I get to spend the next bunch of days putting everything back --one of stuffed toy piles even decided to collapse while the workers were near it so I have to restack that one as well, so my job is even bigger than when I moved the stuff last week; though its in the spare bedroom so its not like it has to be done NOW so I might take my time and work on it ...sometime

My car this time. Hers is doing fine now. It is all about the when it rains it pours though.

Have fun with that. I'm going to go teach and hope to hear about my car and that it is not an expensive repair...

yeah, things are like that...when my first car heard the other was going in for some maintenance, it decided it needed some 'love' as well....I think they talk to each other when they are in the driveway! Now they are complaining that its almost time to change from summer car to winter car and the winter car doesnt want to give up its nice garage (and the summer car is complaining about the cool mornings...too cool for its liking!).

Ya amazing how that works...

Well I did get my car back today. He said there was no leak that he could find and he pressure tested it for a few hours. Everything seemed fine, the fans kicked on and all that jazz. So ya, have it back and it should be good to go. Glad that is done.

Tomorrow after work off to the in-laws I head with the wife. Glad this is a 3 day weekend.

3 day?--oh yeah some people get those holidays off, hubby has to work so no holiday for me
glad they didnt find anything (though you have to wonder....).

mold spores have been high again, and my allergies have been bad (also found out the new people downstairs have a cat which has tendencies to get out of their unit...could explain a few of my allergy times recently).

Yup, holiday. Definitely need that extra day. Haven't had a day off in a while now...

I think it was probably just my own paranoia that got to me. They did find the source of the leak, the clamp on the transmission hose going to the radiator was bad so they replaced that. That was causing some leakage. So ya. But these guys are good and would have found something if something was wrong.

Allergies suck. Love my nasal spray. Hope yours get better soon cosy!

Ya, much better than the alternative.

I like the spray, I don't seem to have any side effects from it. Which is good.

Was Friday. Now Monday. And a day off. Thank goodness...

Spent all weekend at the in-laws for my wife's mom's parents 60th anniversary party. Was a good time but definitely glad to be home.

did a lot of re-arranging over the weekend, still have to put the spare room back together (had a stuffed toy avalanche and it will take some time to un-bury the things that are supposed to be on the bottom of stacks again).

Yup, very impressive. My grandparents 60th is coming up in February. Crazy how that all works out! And that is a little under 60 years away for my wife and me, so not even thinking about it. Not even thinking about 5 yet lol

Re-arranging, ick. My wife usually takes care of that.

yeah I can hardley believe its been 20 years already, though still cant imagine 30 let alone 60. My parents only made it to 35 when my dad died, so I dont have a good frame of reference for 60 years.

yeah jenga and tetris are my games for the week.

My parents are somewhere near 30 I believe. They have to be near 30 since my sister is 27... Maybe they are past 30. Hmmm.

My wife says she is a jenga pro. I have yet to experience this.
